As a first time traveler to the island we don't have a comparison, but I would think it ranks up there with the best of them. It is the ONLY hotel in the area with an elevator...a MAJOR PLUS. Platz gab es genug. Leider war uns der Wettergott mit zu niedrigen Temperaturen und einer sehr frischen Brise nicht ganz hold. Trotz Ostern. Coming and going was always a pleasure when we could greet Flavia or Spiros. Breakfasts were delicious. Room was designed with cave motif with porch big enough for both of us to sit outside. | BelindaMon 12 Jun, 2017 | Lovely Hotel with Lovely ViewsWe spent 6 nights at the Panorama Boutique Hotel in Santorini and found it to be a very comfortable and lovely hotel. The reception are very helpful in providing advice. You can collect black towels from the reception as well which is a great help. Breakfast is served in the bar above the hotel each morning until 11am which is great for those lazy mornings, the breakfast is also really delicious and the staff there make you feel so welcome and remembered us each day when we came. In advance of our arrival the hotel asked us if we wanted transfers to be arranged at a charge of 30 euro each way. We did this and it made it easy on arrival but I was a little disappointed with the return transfers as we were told to take out luggage to the hotel near the road where you can drive and the collection would be there... I was disappointed as there was no-one to help us with our luggage and then the driver collected another group on the way to the airport when I was under the impression it was a private transfer. The views from the hotel are spectacular which is the reason you visit Santorini the only disappointing thing is the balcony's at this hotel are built so high and the table and chairs are so low you can't sit and enjoy the view. The hotel should really consider investing in some high bar chairs and tables so as you are able to sit at the balcony to admire the view or use glass fencing for all balcony's rather than wooden. It is reasonably priced for Santorini standard but they do offer a good product for the price | 5 |
